West Scotland, once the stopping off point for small cargo vessels. The
three bedroom holiday bungalow occupies a quiet elevated position
overlooking Luce Bay and the Galloway Hills, with several working farms
sharing the no-through road access leading from a beautiful Scotland
coastal road.
Visitors can enjoy
magnificent views of sea and countryside from the front of the Self
Catering Holiday bungalow. The lounge and two of the three bedrooms have
sea views; the kitchen has views over hills and farm land.
Facilities are very comfortable with all modern conveniences including,
storage radiators, fridge freezer, washing machine and drier,
television, DVD, radio and microwave. Families with children can enjoy
the sandy beaches and many suitable multi activities in the area. The
bungalow provides a cot and high chair and an enclosed garden area.

conveniently sited for access to the Rhins and the Mull of Galloway -
with its historic castles, fine gardens, sea and loch fishing, five golf
courses, and is within easy reach of the fine beaches at Sandhead, New
England Bay and Ardwell Bay. The area has a good number of restaurants
and pubs serving meals.
The farm is in open
countryside on the outskirts of Stranraer and conveniently situated for
the Southern Upland Way, so is perfect for those who enjoy walking and
cycling. Stranraer itself has a very good leisure centre with fitness
suites, sauna, gym and swimming pool. |

Our Modern Two Bedroom
Flat is situated within the picturesque fishing village of Portpatrick
set in the tranquil scenery of Dumfries and Galloway. Nearby activities
include Golfing, Walking, Fishing, Tennis, Putting, and first class
Hostelries. Within a 10/20 min drive there are numerous beautiful
beaches and country garden areas to visit.
Portpatrick is
situated on the West Coast of Scotland six miles south of Stranraer off
the A77. Around the village are numerous points of interest such as the
Sutherland Upland Walk (a coastal walk with astonishing views), Dunskey
Gardens, and the First Class Golf Courses of Dunskey and Portpatrick.In
the village you will also find Putting, Bowling and Tennis available
along with Sea, Shore and Fresh Water Fishing.
On the culinary side
there are several award winning eating establishments in and around
Portpatrick, which come highly recommended. There is a Harbour area with
a small sandy beach which has easy access.

Suitable for a
larger group, The Dairy House is located at the edge of the farmyard
with views onto the farmyard, fields and the Irish Sea. Although this
traditional style house is close to the everyday activities of the farm,
the sheds are empty during the summer months as the cattle will be at
pasture. Parking for several cars is available directly outside the
house and secured by gate. The well-tended enclosed garden is sheltered
and private.
Recently refurbished and upgraded, the house sleeps 8 - comprising 2
double rooms downstairs, both en suite and 2 twin bedrooms upstairs.
There is a 3rd bathroom downstairs. A cot is available on request.
Centrally heated and double glazed it is cosy for out of season visits.
The living room is very comfortable with Sky T.V, DVDs and gas
fireplace. The kitchen/Dining room is modern and well equipped with all
mod cons. All bed linen, duvets, blankets, table linen and towels are
provided. A welcome pack is provided, as is all information on the
surrounding area. Pets are not permitted. |
