Bakers Farm Cottage
is an unusual property being built of natural stone and mellow brick
situated in a 'No through road' leading off the village green. It was
converted from a range of farm buildings in 1997 to a high standard.
Much of the character of the original building was kept such as the
exposed beams, roof trusses and the pine ledged and braced doors which
were made from the former roof boarding.
Barton-on-the-Heath
is a small village with a 12th century church, which lies in the pretty,
rolling South Warwickshire countryside, close to the borders of
Oxfordshire and Gloucestershire. The market towns of Moreton-in-Marsh (4
miles) and Shipston-on-Stour (6 miles) provide good day to day shopping.
In Long Compton (2 ½ miles) there is a good village shop, who will
deliver daily papers if required.
We are ideally
placed for exploring the excellent Walking, Fishing and Golfing
opportunities available in the region. |
