A warm

North Norfolk is one of the most popular
walking destinations in England because there are host of interesting
and scenic routes locally, including the walk along the coast from
Overstrand to Cromer or, further afield the famous Peddars Way Coastal
Walk.
If sea fishing is not your passion
then visit the lakes at Dilham Fishery or Blickling Hall (both within a
15 minute drive).

Hedera House &
Plantation Bungalows are set in two acres of lovely, peaceful gardens in
the village of Thurne, right at the heart of the Broadland National Park
This small site with
only Hedera House and 11 individual holiday bungalows is under the
personal supervision of Carol Delf. Its small number of guests ensures
there is always space to enjoy your holiday by swimming in our private
heated pool, having fun in the games room with pool and table tennis, or
just relaxing in our lovely gardens, in the peace of the Norfolk Broads.

This picturesque
setting is adjacent to the River Thurne, with Thurne Dyke 50 yards away,
offering launching for small craft and mooring facilities. There is
river access to all Broads, including Hickling, Ranworth and Wroxham,
and coarse fishing is available along the river bank. Thurne village has
a local store and the Lion Inn, which cater for most holiday needs. A
car is recommended to explore further around and about. The central
location of Thurne means that all the attractions of the Norfolk Broads
and the surrounding areas are just a short drive away |

Morley, which itself is about three miles from Dereham in the centre of

doorstep we have large mature fishing lakes (for which we have two
permits available), the river Wensum, Bawdeswell Heath and Bylaugh Wood
and Hall. You are surrounded by gentle hills amongst pleasant open

Old Hall Farm is
a restored thatched farmhouse dating from the 17th century. Our location
in the quiet village of South Walsham is in the heart of Norfolk's
Broadland. We are ideally situated for the Norfolk Broads, the City of
Norwich, Great Yarmouth and the coast. As you can see from the photo, we
have ample parking available to our guests.
All of our rooms are en-suite and are
equipped with comfortable beds, central heating,TV, radio and tea/coffee
making facilities. We also have a sitting room available to our guests.
Our breakfast menu is as extensive as ever and we still use free range
eggs from our own hens. Packed lunches are available on request. We are
open from April until October and are NON Smoking.
If you prefer the
outdoor life it is also possible to camp at Old Hall Farm and we are
registered members of the Camping and Caravanning Club.
