The West
Port, Linlithgow is a traditional styled restaurant and pub with

As the name suggests the Hotel is found in the west side of town on the
main road into this historic of town – the birth place of Mary Queen of
Scots. Originally established in 1790, The Hotel was the first coaching
inn at which traders from the west would rest and take refreshments on
their travels east.

Overhailes Farm is situated in the heart of East Lothian between the

farm is now mainly arable, though we have some cattle during the Winter
months. The Wright family have farmed at Overhailes since the 1950's.

Balgone Dean is a

This charming
3-star country cottage is only 10 miles from Edinburgh and has a
secluded garden surrounded by beautiful countryside. A pub, a grocery
shop and a take-away restaurant are a 10 minutes walk away.
The cottage

intersect right outside the cottage, and the Dalkeith to Penicuik
cross-country footpath and cycle-track is just a quarter of a mile away.
There are numerous interesting walks in the neighbourhood offering a
variety of fine scenery away from busy roads. Rosslyn Chapel is only 3
miles away and Rosslyn Glen is a wonderful place to
explore on foot.
The cottage is
fully accessible by public transport – it is not necessary to bring a
car. Please note that the cottage is totally non-smoking and that no
