received North West in Bloom Silver Gilt Awards in both 2010 and 2011
and came highly commended, 2nd place in October 2011 in the Lancashire &
Blackpool Tourism Awards for best Caravan Park.

"Jenny Wrens" & "Mrs Wagtails" holiday cottages are situated within the
grounds of Height Top Farm in a lovingly converted 19th century farm
house, with stunning views of the surrounding countryside.
The
cottages are in a peaceful, rural location situated between The Forest
of Bowland and Pendle Forest which will appeal to walkers, cyclists and
guests wanting a relaxing break from a hectic lifestyle.
Both
cottages enjoy impressive views, have been decorated and furnished to a
very high standard and offer much comfort.
Entrance to both cottages is via a galleried hall, with feature
stonework, exposed beams and fully tiled floor.
For
Anglers we are within walking distance of the Rising Fishery for coarse
fishing and we have Roughlee Trout fishery 3 miles away.
For
golfers there are 4 courses within a 5 mile radius.
Some
of the best places to "Dine Out" are within a very short distance
whether its something very special or maybe a pub lunch

bed & breakfast in 1984 by its present owners, Rose Cottage is ideally

bikes with undercover parking. Walkers on the Ribble Way – We will
transfer your back-packs to your next overnight stop or we will pick you
up at the bridge just outside Ribchester and return you the following
