Orchard Cottage is a
lovely Scottish Tourist Board 3 Star rated holiday home in Forfar, in
the County of Angus. It is centrally located to hills, glens, Glamis
Castle and within driving distance of Perth and Aberdeen (A90), and for
the golf enthusiast, Carnoustie and St. Andrews.
The cottage has one
bedroom with Kingsize bed and three single beds in the second bedroom.
The newly refurbished bathroom has large quadrant shower, vanity unit,
toilet and bidet, also with shaver unit. There is also a cloakroom with
separate toilet.
The kitchen
incorporates: dishwasher, microwave, large fridge/freezer, oven &
washer/drier with external drying space. A separate dining room easily
seats five people.
There is private
parking for three cars, and outside seating within patio area
We are ideally placed
for exploring the excellent Walking, Golfing & Fishing opportunities
available in the region and there is also deep sea fishing, half or full
days at Arbroath, just 14 miles away. |

Set amidst the
beautiful Angus countryside, close to the Cairngorm National Park,

Glenprosen
is the most intimate of the Angus Glens, on the southernmost edge of the
Cairngorms National Park.
Prosen
Hostel was recently converted from the glen primary school to serve the
upgraded East Cairngorms footpath network. Two Munros, the Mayar &
Driesh, link Glenprosen to the Cairngorms plateau. The Minister's Path
leads over to Glen Clova, whilst a brand new footbridge & path along the
prettiest stretch of the river Prosen connects to Glenisla, and the
Cateran trail, in Perthshire.
The living
room has a wood burning stove, internet connection, and raised area for
admiring the view (& red squirrels) through the school's huge windows.

wanting more privacy we have a large selection of riverside or moorland
