‘Le Peyrou’ is a former vineyard that nestles in the valley of the river Lot (about 16 km west of Cahors). It lies within walking distance (600 metres) of Luzech, a little village, where you’re able to purchase all that you need.

 On the "Le Peyrou" estate are 3 separate houses, in the centre of a beautifully designed woodlands park. In the park you’ll find a tennis court, pool, children’s playground and a terrain to play ‘jeu de boules’. All the houses are nicely decorated, the kitchen is fully equipped, and the bedrooms have large beds in a romantic style.

 We have a Studio for 2 persons, or one of the houses (for 4, 6 or 10 persons). Bed & Breakfast is also available

The village is very peaceful, an idyllic hill-top hamlet, rich in associations with 100 Years War.Glorious views of vineyards.  Swimming lake 6kms.  Convenient for golf/tennis at Château des Vigiers nearby.

Car essential but it is not isolated. Nearest shops at Sigoulès and Eymet. Picturesque local markets.

The cottage has a large sunny living room with fully equipped kitchen area; large sofa. Bedroom with twin beds, WC and shower en suite. Garden furniture, barbecue, etc.

Cottage is situated on edge of village "Place" near Château and is very rural. Windows in roof and thick walls make it light, airy and cool. Marvellous local food and wine.

Area rich in Périgord cooking at excellent restaurants.  Well situated for exploring Monbazillac and the "Bastide" towns of the  Lot et Garonne. Les.   Eyzies caves about 1 hour's drive. All including linen.
