This delightful
guest house is situated within metres of Barmouth's famous sandy beach.
It has been run since 1980 by Eric and Shelagh Jarman, They have
sympathetically renovated and refurbished the whole premises to provide
modern comfort of a high standard whilst retaining it's Victorian
character
Many of the
bedrooms in the Hotel enjoy superb views of Cardigan Bay and the
Snowdonia mountains. A comfortable first floor seating area also
overlooks the sea, as does the well lit spacious dining room found on
the ground floor
It's proximity
to the beach, the town-centre, rail and bus stations, (100 metres level
walk away); make it an ideal location for those on foot or who wish to
forget their car.
Shelagh and
Eric's knowledge and enthusiasm for the area where they live, is obvious
from the photographs and a wide selection of historical, local interest
and walking books which are made available for their guests use. They
are also very happy to send you, by foot or by car, to places not found
in the guide books. (be wary of the "14 gate drive".)
All bedrooms
are en-suite and have clock-radio alarms; hair dryers, ample tea &
coffee and the benefit of Digital Freeview Television & Radio reception.

A lovely holiday
cottage situated near the seaside resort of Barmouth and surrounded by
Snowdonia. The name 'Tai Newyddion' means 'new houses', but they are
actually 300 year old farm worker cottages and each one would have been
occupied by whole, sometimes large families. Cottage 5 and cottage 6
became one property at least 35 years ago.
The Cottage has been modernised to provide comfortable, cosy, self
catering accommodation overlooking Barmouth and Cardigan Bay. The
cottage is within walking distance (150m) of the Blue Flag beach. The
nearest footpath into the hills is only 60 meters away. The cottage is
1.5 miles from the town centre and is convenient for both bus and train
connections.
Accommodating up to 4 comfortably, the Cottage offers a year round,
ideal location for a short break or a longer stay. It has a secluded
garden to the side and rear including a sheltered patio area with views
of the Irish Sea and Cader Idris mountain range. |

Parc Wernol
Caravan Park offers guests all the comforts of home in peaceful and
relaxed surroundings. The park is situated 1 mile outside the village of
Chwilog which has a post office and a general shop, a butchers and a
country inn. Self catering holidays in Parc Wernol is an excellent
centre from which to explore the Llŷn Peninsula, Snowdonia and indeed
North Wales.
We are an ideal site in for a relaxing self catering holiday. Pleasantly
elevated in unspoilt countryside the family run caravan park commands
panoramic views of Cardigan Bay and Snowdonia and is meticulously
maintained by the owners, who also work the adjoining farm. The high
standard achieved has merited the Park a prestigious Welsh Tourist Board

University when you think of visiting Aberystwyth or Mid Wales but we

ideal for parties of up to 8 persons, comprising four twin bedded rooms,

There are no kitchen facilities,
since it is envisaged that visitors will want to take advantage of
having breakfast and other meals in the Golf club house. The Club house,
which was opened in 1998, has extensive lounge areas, bar and dining
